The Museum is made up of seven unique
collections that come together to
treat you to a family friendly experience unlike any other.
Mind bogglingly, a single trip to the Museum of Texas Tech University (Museum of TTU) could see you diving into a Monet, examining a unique sculpture, taking flight with a red-winged blackbird and even exploring a laser light and sound show.
The Museum of Texas Tech University houses more than 5 million objects in arts, humanities and sciences. The museum is made up of the Lubbock Lake National Historic Landmark, Natural Science Research Laboratory, Moody Planetarium, Helen DeVitt Jones Auditorium and Sculpture Court, Diamond M Gallery and the Museum of TTU. The different assets of the museum combine for one unique experience filled with exploration and discovery at each.
The museum not only displays and supports the arts, sciences and humanities but also trains future professionals through its nationally-recognized graduate level programs in Museum Science and Heritage Management.
