It’s Going to be a Fun Howl-O-Ween!
Goblins, ghouls and dogs, OH MY! Let your furry friends lead the way at this year’s Howl-O-Ween Run on Saturday, Oct. 26.
The folks at West Texas Endurance understand how hard it is to leave our pals behind when it’s time for race day. In it’s second year, this race is perfect for two legs or four, including two different races.
While Cookie the Chihuahua may have as much heart as a Great Dane, she may not be able to run as much as Tammy the Border Collie. Participants will be able to choose from a “family friendly” 1.9 mile run and a 4 mile run where you and your four-legged friend will be able to run together without a leash.
The shorter race will weave around Canyon Lake and the 4 mile run will go through the Lubbock Cemetery, where you can pay tribute to Lubbock’s favorite son, Buddy Holly.
There is still time to register by using this link. Participants will also have the opportunity to donate pet supplies that will be donated to the Morris Safe House.
