Canterville is a site-specific, immersive theatre experience inspired by Oscar Wilde’s classic comic ghost story. Set in the haunted Victorian mansion Canterville Chase, young Virginia Otis and her family encounter centuries-old specter Sir Simon de Canterville, an arrogant ham of a ghost who leads them on a comic yet terrifying investigation of gender, sexuality, and horror. Combining physical theatre, dance, music and the thrills of a haunted house, Canterville will immerse audiences into a provocative, scary, beautiful and fun journey that explores the transformative power of art.
