South Plains Nativity Exhibit @ Lubbock | Texas | United States

Come and hear community musicians perform live music as you view hundreds of nativities from 1-9 p.m. each day.

South Plains artists will display their original art in the artist’s room under the direction of artists David and Sara Lindsay. The international room displays depictions of The Nativity from all over the world. In the children’s area children can experience Bethlehem, make a craft, play with some unbreakable nativities and families can dress in costumes for a photo in the stable built there.

Evening concerts are from 7-8 p.m.

  • Thursday’s concert includes the Lubbock Singing Plainsmen, THU Garza, soloist Dix Densley and the Nativity Choir and Orchestra.
  • Friday’s concert features The West Texas Children’s Chorus, Bells Gloria, Second Baptist Church, Soloist Keven Goertzen and the Nativity Choir and Orchestra.
  • Saturday’s concert features Moonlight Directions, Youth Ensemble with Ty Burge and Ann Marie Nichols, Texas Tech Opera professor and soloist, Rebecca Hays and the Nativity Orchestra and Choir.
  • Sunday evening, a Christmas Sing-A-Long from 6:30-7 p.m. will conclude with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir Christmas Broadcast from 7-8 p.m.
