Lubbock celebrates a new season with events ranging from a wine festival to country concerts and CASPFEST to Ranch Day! Check out these must-see events in Lubbock this spring.

Viva Aztlan Festival
On Friday, March 8 and Saturday, March 9, take a peek into 25 years of Mexican dance and music culture. This festival prides itself on providing the best experience through workshops and showcases at a low cost for everyone to enjoy.

Hope Fest
For the second year, Lubbock will host Hope Fest benefiting the American Cancer Society. On Thursday, April 11, come to Charley B’s to see country star Sam Riggs with special guests John Baumann, Kody West and Slade Coulter.

Lubbock Uncorked
On Friday, April 12 , the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce is hosting the 4th Annual Lubbock Uncorked. The festival celebrates the local wines made from the High Plains AVA and welcomes wineries from all over the state.  This event, located at the American Windmill Museum, also highlights the best live music and local food trucks.

Cost: $30 pre-sale, $40 at the door

Ranch Day
Take your kids out for a fun day experiencing the history of life on a ranch. At the 49th Annual Ranch Day, visitors will be a ranch hand for the day through hands-on activities like rope-making, horseback riding and leather stamping.

Lubbock Arts Festival
This year is the 41st Annual Lubbock Arts Festival hosted by the Lubbock Arts Alliance to host the Lubbock Arts Festival. On Saturday, April 13 and  Sunday, April 14, over 150 artists gather to participate in the largest fine arts festival in West Texas. Shop for original pieces while enjoying live performances at this family-friendly event.

Cost: $4 for adults, Kids 12 & under are free

CASPFEST
This is the inaugural year of the Charles Adam Studio Project’s CASPFEST. This two-night festival takes place Friday, April 26 through Saturday, April 27  in Lubbock Arts District. It highlights contemporary art, music and film. CASPFEST also features live music from bands across Texas and a variety of food trucks.

Cost: $12.50 per night; $30 two night pass with T-shirt available

Cotton Fest
Get your boots ready for this year’s Cotton Fest Thursday, May 2 through Saturday, May 4 . This country music festival will feature William Clark Green, Whiskey Myers, Flatland Cavalry and many more. This three-day weekend is packed with camping, a BBQ cook-off, a washer tournament and much more. This event supports a great cause; funds raised from Cotton Fest will benefit the High Cotton Relief fund.

Cost: Tickets range $25 – $300
