Venue Spotlight: Horseshoe Knot Event Center

As you walk through the entrance of Horseshoe Knot Event Center, you’re captured by the acres (that’s right, acres) of wide-open spaces. It seems to go on and on until your eyes notice the many trees lining the fence. The endless green and lush space will quite literally take your breath away. However, the venue also carries a charm about it that relaxes the mind, calms the spirit and makes you excited to be surrounded by family and friends. What more could you ask for in a venue?

The venue opened in 2015, and was purchased by Brett and Melinda Williams in January of 2017. While weddings are their forte, Melinda says the venue hosts receptions, family reunions, Quinceañeras and other celebrations. She loves being a part of such special days in her clients’ lives and enjoys sharing this rustic venue with guests.

Sitting on five acres of land, a 7,200-square-foot barn can seat up to 400 guests. Within the air conditioned barn is a caterer’s kitchen, bar and suites for the bride and groom. Of the five acres, two are designated space for ample parking. As for the beautiful grassy acres just outside the barn, the scenery includes crepe myrtles, a wagon, gazebo, pergola and windmill.

Rental of the property gives access to both indoor and outdoor space, provides security and TABC certified bartenders, along with an open policy for vendors. Included in your rental is set-up and take down of tables and chairs, your choice of tablecloths, bartenders, security and clean up. You are free to decorate your event however you choose, but the venue has a selection of centerpieces and decor for you to choose from.

Guests can enjoy additional seating outside with six tables and chairs, as well as additional seating around two fire pits that sit around the stunning pergola. Special pricing is available for high schools, middle schools, universities and colleges and a 10 percent Military discount for bride and groom.
