Llano Estacado Lake/Buddy Holly Recreation Area

Come visit one of Lubbock’s historic parks named after Buddy Holly. This park provides a serene setting with a waterfall and plenty of shade. Stretch your legs out and take a stroll down the 1.8-mile walking track or bring out the fishing rod and enjoy a gorgeous Lubbock afternoon. The park features benches, Fiesta Plaza, fishing, Landwer Party House, 
picnic area, restrooms, Quest Memorial Grove, Quest Memorial Fountain, a waterfall and walking track (1.8 miles). |
