I will never stay here again and I hope you dont either unless you want to wait 2 hours to check in and want to be double charged. Not only that but charged a different rate then you were offered and find out when you look at your statement 2 days after checking out. I stayed at this hotel because my uncle reserved x amount of rooms for his weeding guest to stay and i was offered a group rate which was great. I did check in before the check in time which I have been told " if you check in a couple of hours early we still have to charge for the full day" which i understand I can catch a nap in the car until check in time or go grab breakfast but when your also told " dont worry I am just charging you $169" then things sound better. But I guess her GM did not feel the same way so she told me that he told her she has to charge me $255 now. Well I did not find out that her GM said this until I called to dispute the charges. I have tried resolving the issue with Sydney over the past 2 weeks but for some reason she is always at lunch or just stepped out. I see no end to this frustration and yet I have not received a phone call from anyone at the Hotel or anyone in higher management. The only contact I have made with anyone is when I call or my girlfriend calls. So if you care about your money or have a worry free stay beware of this hotel.
Very pleasant stay

We were very pleased with our stay at the Best Western Palms hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the 2-queen room was remodeled and comfortable, and everything was clean. No funky smells though the air sort of smelled of smoke, but it is a 100% Smoke free hotel. Beds comfortable and the room was pretty quiet. The hot breakfast was OK and the coffee was cold but they brewed more right away. For our one night passing through Lubbock with the AAA rate of $75 it was a great value. Bonus - it’s right next to Main Event so the kids got to do some bowling after 8 hours on the road.
