New in Lubbock – May
While we were all readying ourselves for the end of the school year, graduations and daydreaming about Memorial Day weekends filled with brew and barbecue, a few new businesses opened their doors this month. Here’s a look at what’s new in Lubbock for the month of May!

Remember the good ol’ days of childhood when the living was easy and someone else was in charge of your hair? While the pros at Blo, Lubbock’s newest no-cut, no-color salon can’t do much for your to-do list, they can certainly help you achieve that perfectly polished blow out, Insta-worthy top knot or enviable beachy waves that you’ll want to rock all summer long. Just the mention of the name “Evie Mae’s” around our office is enough to induce a full-on barbe-craving. We’ve been faithful patrons since Evie Mae’s first began their operations, and now they’ve moved into a brand new building in a brand new location. Stop by for perfectly smoked brisket, green chile sausage, homemade sides and a slice of chocolate pecan pie.
