Fly Away at Lubbock Moonlight Musicals
Summer months are perfect for a picnic in the park, an evening out with the family or on a date enjoying the sights and sounds of Lubbock. A perfect way to get all of this in and more is by attending the Lubbock Moonlight Musicals. Nestled in Mackenzie Park at the Wells Fargo Amphitheater, these productions are a perfect weekend activity that everyone will love!
What can you look forward to at Lubbock Moonlight Musicals? As the Director of Development for Lubbock Moonlight Musicals, Robin Henson enjoys the family-friendly productions and relaxed atmosphere in one of Lubbock’s most beautiful spots. Colorful costumes and tremendous talent leave audiences in awe each weekend.
This summer kicked off with “Peter Pan,” which will continue shows on June 21, 22, 28 and 29. I caught up with Rachel Biggs who plays Peter Pan in the musical. Having acted in Lubbock Moonlight Musical Productions for two years, Rachel knows that there is something for everyone at each show. “The songs are great, the characters are great and the cast is one, big family,” Rachel said.
Be sure to add Lubbock Moonlight Musicals to your list of summer “to-do’s,” and you won’t be disappointed! Also, look out for the next round of productions, “Annie Get Your Gun” in July and “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” in August. For ticket information and pricing, click here.
