Fashion Forward For Fall at J Roberts

I can’t believe that fall is about to be here in all its sweater-clad, pumpkin spice glory. It seems like just yesterday we were breaking out the coolers and SPF in preparation for the summer season, and yet tell-tell signs of soon-to-be-cooler temperatures are all around us. Football season kicked off (pun intended) a few weeks ago, pumpkin spice lattes are making Instagram appearances and all our favorite shops are unpacking their fall inventory.

Sure I’m excited about seeing my favorite teams hit the field and ordering up my lower-calorie version of the beloved PSL (a non-fat cappuccino, two pumps of pumpkin), but what I’m truly ready for is this season’s trends. I popped by J Roberts for a quick look at all the things I hope to be wearing this fall!

1. Kimonos
The first time I wore a kimono my dad asked my mom, “why is Erin wearing a robe?” But that hasn’t stopped me from rocking one all summer long, and they look just as good with ankle boots as they do with cut-offs. I spotted a couple at J Roberts that I’d like to add to my wardrobe, including this printed number.

2. Graphic Tees
I never met a graphic tee I didn’t like, and I will happily carry this trend into fall because their versatility knows no bounds. The best ones can be tucked into a skirt and worn with heels and a statement necklace, or front tucked into a pair of boyfriend jeans with a pair of flats, and J Roberts has plenty that fit the versatility bill.

3. Fringe
You don’t have to be headed to Coachella to rock a good fringed piece. Channel your inner hippie this fall and pick up something a little free-spirited. From dresses to skirts and tanks, there are plenty of ways you can wear this trend, right down to your boots or your handbag.

4. Denim
Texas gals need their denim, and that doesn’t always mean a pair of jeans. I’m a huge fan of the way they’ve styled this particular outfit. I’m already picturing myself wearing this entire ensemble to The Jones later this football season. And if it’s outfit inspiration you crave, be sure to check J Roberts out on Instagram (@jrobertsclothing).
