Art Spiegelman, Pulitzer Prize-winning artist/illustrator, has almost single-handedly brought comic books out of the toy closet and onto the literature shelves. In his lecture, “What the %@&*! Happened to Comics?” Spiegelman takes his audience on a chronological tour of the evolution of comics.
Friday, Feb. 3, 2017 – Mike Farris & the Roseland Rhythm Revue in Concert
Grammy Award-winning soul singer, Mike Farris, performs “Soul of America: From Motown to Memphis to Muscle Shoals”. After electrifying audiences with the impact of his live performance, Farris was invited to be a featured performer in 2011 at the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame’s 16th Annual American Masters Concert honoring Aretha Franklin.
