39th Annual Lubbock Arts Festival

Every year the Lubbock Arts Festival features over 150 visual artists from around the nation displaying and selling original work in the mediums of painting, drawing, pottery, fiber, leather, jewelry, glass, wood and sculpture.
A gallery of professional work will be available for viewing along with artwork from area school children. There will be different performing stages each spotlighting the very best local and regional talent singing, dancing, acting and playing instruments.
Along with performances, the festival consists of a Young Writer’s competition, which will challenge writer’s to create a “Tribute to Fairytales.” In addition, the Lubbock Arts Festival will host a Young Artist’s competition, judging artwork within the following categories: Elementary K -2nd Grades, Elementary 3rd – 5th Grades, Middle School 6th – 8th Grades and High School 9th – 12th Grades.
Also, demonstrations by artists creating their work will take place along with ten different “Kid Stops” providing FREE art-related activities for children.
