Day 8’s “Hub City Trivia” Answer is…

Happy National Travel & Tourism Week! Here in Lubbock, we’re celebrating in many ways (see, and one of them is through our “Hub City Trivia” Game. Read on to find out the answer to today’s trivia question, as well as discover if you are the winner of the Lubbock Prize Pack!

Today’s “Hub City Trivia” question was: Which former U.S. President stayed in a cabin that is now on display at the National Ranching Heritage Center?

Answer: President Theodore Roosevelt

Located on the Texas Tech University campus, this 27.5-acre museum is a magical West Texas touchstone for many in the community and around the nation. The National Ranching Heritage Center features 48 authentic ranching structures and objects dating back as early as the 1700s. There is even a structure on-site that played host to President Theodore Roosevelt in the late 1830s. In addition to a historical park, museum visitors can also experience the wide array of art monuments found at the National Ranching Heritage Center. The museum is host to more than 38 life-size bronze outdoor art pieces and six galleries featuring permanent, as well as temporary exhibits of art, photography and artifacts that capture historical and contemporary Western life.
