I love the atmosphere and service that I receive at the winery. The staff, always willing to go out of their way to make me and my guests feel comfortable. From a quick question to a full blown tour Phillip and Mike do whatever they can to make my visit special and memorable. The Wine classes once a month are a must and If I can ever find a woman to put up with me for ever and ever... The Caprock Winery is where I would want to say my nuptials. Gorgeous facility, polite and knowledgeable staff and a great wine.(if you need coupons and the such to have a good time with good people then maybe you should stick with that other second rate winery in lubbock but if your looking for a great nite with great people treat yourself to a wine class and let the staff spoil you and you friends.
Very Rude

We bought a Groupon for Caprock Winery because we have never been out before and were looking forward to checking it out. We went out with our Groupon once before during a Maridgras event in which we found out the Groupon was not accepted due to it being an event which we understood. When making reservations for a dinner they have each month, we asked specifically if the Groupon was accepted and were told "absolutely". Upon our arrival, we were not only told that they were not accepted but to "read the fine print". We were dumbfounded. We had been out previously and that is why we called to find out if a dinner was an ’event’. The Caprock Winery employee, Mike, did not say he was sorry but just that Groupons were not accepted and again told my mother to read the fine print. Mike was unbelievably rude. Imagine someone being a complete jerk to your mom. The manager then came out and informed Mike the Groupon was as good as a gift certificate for dinners and that he must have missed the meeting. At that point, Mike said nothing to us just that he didn’t know. No apologies, just completely disregarded us. I suggested his staff be better educated on the Groupon because the point of it was for us to come out, have a good time and return. Being avid wine drinkers (not wine snobs), we were extremely disappointed after being excited about our new outing. My mom nor I will be back. Let us make a recommendation ~ Go to Llano Estacado Winery. We have been to many events out there with the best service and even better wine!
