The Center houses a permanent exhibition dedicated to the life and music of Buddy Holly which showcases unique memorabilia donated by the family, friends and fans of Lubbock’s favorite son. I visited Lubbock for the 2nd time and went back especially for the 50th anniversary of Buddy’s death. I had a great time meeting Larry and Travis Holley. I feel at home when in Lubbock because the people are so friendly and helpful. I was lucky enough to perform as Buddy Holly at the Blue Light on Tuesday 3rd Feb and live my dream!
